Hope and Healing for your invisible hurts
You've heard the old saying, “put on your own oxygen mask first"? Whether you are anticipating leaving or feel you must stay in a difficult situation, it is so important that you get adequate rest, eat healthy foods, see your doctor regularly, take vitamin and mineral supplements, and unwind at the end of a stressful day. . .at least as much as you are able!
Do it for your sake, and for the
sake of your children.
Draw yourself a hot bath with some essential oils or healthy salts. Invest in a sound machine and a salt lamp to place by your bedside to help you relax at night. Make sure you take time to be quiet and still and do deep breathing exercises daily.
Grab a treat and watch a chick flick. Read a good book. Do things that relax you ~ work on a puzzle, go for a walk, sip some herbal tea, call a friend. Find ways to bring rest and comfort to your soul.
When you are in a state of trauma, you need to take mini vacations from the stress of your situation. Getting out of the house with supportive friends will refresh your soul and help you face daily challenges. You don't need to plan a big getaway! There are endless possibilities for lovely day trips, and what's better than a fun movie night when you can take a break from your stressors and just laugh with those who best understand you!
There is no substitute
for good friends!
Plan a "high tea" and have fun decorating the table for the occasion. Buy tickets to a theatre production and go out to dinner before or after. Plan a craft night. Go bowling! In the midst of your trauma you may have forgotten how to step away from your troubles and just have fun. Friends can help you laugh and to remember who you are, aside from your most taxing roles.

This is a long form text area designed for your content that you can fill up with as many words as your heart desires. You can write articles, long mission statements, company policies, executive profiles, company awards/distinctions, office locations, shareholder reports, whitepapers, media mentions and other pieces of content that don’t fit into a shorter, more succinct space.
Articles – Good topics for articles include anything related to your company – recent changes to operations, the latest company softball game – or the industry you’re in. General business trends (think national and even international) are great article fodder, too.
Mission statements – You can tell a lot about a company by its mission statement. Don’t have one? Now might be a good time to create one and post it here. A good mission statement tells you what drives a company to do what it does.
Company policies – Are there company policies that are particularly important to your business? Perhaps your unlimited paternity/maternity leave policy has endeared you to employees across the company. This is a good place to talk about that.
Executive profiles – A company is only as strong as its executive leadership. This is a good place to show off who’s occupying the corner offices. Write a nice bio about each executive that includes what they do, how long they’ve been at it, and what got them to where they are.
This is a content preview space you can use to get your audience interested in what you have to say so they can’t wait to learn and read more. Pull out the most interesting detail that appears on the page and write it here.
